Established by Margaret Crain in memory of Irene MacAllister MacRae, B.A. 1914, who was vice-president of the Mathematics Club while at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. Irene was one of the first two women to graduate from ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in honours mathematics and physics. She was active on the executive of the YWCA during her years at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. Her five children graduated from ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ as did several of her grand and great grandchildren.
