Student Voices Week is a week-long series of opportunities to engage in conversations about equity and allyship at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and to celebrate the equity-focused work being done by students across campus.

Student Voices Week is hosted by the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Shift Project in the Student Experience Office in collaboration with many university partners and student groups.

Unless otherwise noted, all Student Voices Week events are open to any students looking to be part of the shift towards a safer and more inclusive campus culture for everyone.

Monday, March 9th

  • 9am: Shift Shorts: Continuum Episode Launch, "International Student Perspectives" hosted by the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Shift Project & the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ International Centre
  • 12pm: Interfaith Network Prayer Beads Workshop hosted by the Office of Faith & Spiritual Life and the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Shift Project
  • 7pm: Student Voices Week Athlete Panel hosted by ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Athletics & the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Shift Project

Tuesday, March 10th

  • 12:30pm: Student Voices Week Market hosted by the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Shift Project
  • 5:30pm: AMS Assembly: International Women's Day hosted by the AMS 
  • 5:30pm: Conversation Café hosted by the Commitment Scholar Engagement Committee

Wednesday, March 11th

  • 12pm: Lunch & Learn hosted by the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Shift Project and students from NURS405
  • 6pm: Equity Town Hall hosted by the AMS Social Issues Commission

  • 10am: Student Activist Appreciation Event hosted by the Yellow House Student Centre for Equity & Inclusion
