Interested in learning about the practice of medicine within correctional settings? We would like to invite you to our first event, 鈥淐aring in Confinement: A Physician Correctional Medicine Panel鈥�. Join us for a discussion on healthcare delivery, continuity of care, and health equity in correctional settings.

The goal of the session is to expand students鈥� understanding of healthcare delivery for incarcerated populations, a group that is consistently underserved and experiences disproportionate burdens. Through facilitated discussion, students will learn about clinical experiences in correctional healthcare. Physicians will speak with Queen鈥檚 medical students about the unique challenges and responsibilities associated with providing care in secure environments.
