Please join us in-person (or virtually here) on Jan13, 12:30 to 1:30 pm (School of Medicine, 15 Arch St, Room 032A) for the fourth talk of our Healthy People, Healthy Planet Interprofessional Group Lunch & Learn Series.
The talk is entitled "Prescription for vitality: Exercise as Medicine". We will explore exercise as medicine and its benefits for human health, with practical insights for clinical practice.
Objectives of this session include:
- Explain the role of physical activity as a core therapeutic intervention in the prevention and management of chronic disease
- Prescribe exercise using an evidence-based framework including time-efficient exercise strategies
- Apply exercise prescription skills through a practical clinical case
Attending this session will count toward the Academic Enrichment Program’s formal training requirement for medical students.
Light refreshments will be provided to in-person participants.
