    Description:

New to Queen’s or simply looking to expand your circle? Join us for Speed Friending, a fun, low-pressure way to meet colleagues, spark conversations, and build meaningful connections.

Speed Friending @ ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ is an in-person social wellness experience designed to help employees connect in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Inspired by the concept of speed networking, but with a friendlier, more human twist, participants will engage in a series of 5-minute rotating conversations with fellow colleagues.

Light, inclusive conversation prompts will be provided to help break the ice without putting anyone on the spot. The format removes the awkwardness of traditional networking and creates an energetic, engaging space where connections can form naturally.

    This session is ideal for:

    • Employees (Faculty and Staff) new to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½
    • Those looking to meet colleagues outside their department
    • Anyone wanting to strengthen their sense of connection and belonging

Whether you leave with one new connection or many, Speed Friending creates intentional space for relationship-building during the workday.

    Thrive 365 Alignment

This session supports Thrive 365 by encouraging intentional social connection and community building, providing a welcoming, inclusive space for employees at all stages of their ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ journey, and supporting social wellbeing through meaningful, face-to-face interaction.
