Euglycemic DKA

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Outline precipitants and diagnostic features of euglycemic DKA
 - Describe management of euglycemic DKA
 - Outline strategies to reduce the risk of euglycemic DKA with SGLT2 inhibitors including conditions for initiation and holding in the acute care setting; as well as education on sick day management.
 
High Flow Oxygen / Transcutaneous Pacing

High Flow Oxygen:
- Assess when to use or not use high flow oxygen
 - Identify how to adjust high flow oxygen administration and make adjustments with new information
 
Transcutaneous Pacing:
- Identify the key factors in transcutaneous pacing
 - Evaluate whether to use transcutaneous pacing or not in a given situation
 - Discuss helpful tricks to sedation using transcutaneous pacing
