    Lean 101: An Introduction to Lean Process Design

    Description:

    A workshop that combines presentation, hands-on exercises, and dialogue to introduce the concepts of lean process design and how you can apply them to the work you do every day. Anchored by the two principles of “respect for people” and “continuous improvement”, we look at real-world examples of how lean achieved results for different organizations - and how you can too. Lean to identify value, eliminate waste, create flow, and perhaps find yourself on the “Wall of Excuses”. You'll leave with a good starting point to become a lean champion in your office.

     

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Describe the 'lean process design'
    • Apply concepts of the process to your own work
    • Relate real world examples to your own work and determine how you and your team can achieve lean results
