On April 3rd, the Department Student Council (DSC) held the annual physics banquet at the Holiday Inn. The evening included dinner and the announcement of teaching awards voted by Physics and Engineering Physics students.

Awards for Instructors

• The Excellence in Instruction in the Pure Physics (Arts & Science): Sarah Sadavoy
   
• Excellence in Instruction in the Engineering Physics Program:  Marc Dignam
   
• The Geoff Lockwood Award for Excellence in Teaching Physics: Aaron Vincent
