Queen's remembers Philip Osanic

The Queen’s community is remembering Philip Osanic (Law’91, LLM’02), who passed away on Oct. 16 at the age of 65. After graduating from Queen’s with a JD from Queen’s Faculty of Law in 1991, he worked in Toronto for several years before returning to Kingston to establish his own practice in 1994. He then began teaching courses at Queen’s Law and Smith School of Business shortly after earning a Master of Laws from the university in 2002. Professor Osanic was committed to supporting students both in and out of the classroom, serving as a faculty advisor, coach, case author, and judge for several conferences and case competitions.
The flags will be lowered to half-mast on campus in his honour Friday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Oct. 26.
