Becoming the Queen's Women's Association

In 2001, the Faculty Women's Club (FWC) became the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Women's Association (QWA) to more accurately reflect its role within the university and recognize it as a "not-for-profit" integral part of the university.

In 2007, the Constitution was updated and Bylaws were updated to include more women from the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ community.

New technology has been developed: a website, database to keep members more informed of activities.

The QWA has become a more active organization with 220 members in recent years.
