    Holly’s latest book, Lean Transformation for Small and Mid-Size Manufacturers: A Practical Guide to Efficiency, Profitability, and Sustainable Growth, was published in October 2024. Her second book is a comprehensive guide that demystifies lean principles and tailors them to the unique challenges of smaller manufacturing enterprises. It is independently published and is available from Amazon.

    Thomas has written a book about his investigation of Nixon's secret 1957 trip to Eastern Ontario, the Bay of Quinte and his hometown of Picton. Framed by the former vice-president's visit, the book uses this remarkable and largely undocumented historical event to reflect on the author's personal journey to making a new rural home in Prince Edward County, as well as current political developments like the election of Donald Trump. The book is available on Amazon and through Ingram Sparks at independent bookstores and libraries.

    Zoë is thrilled to announce the launch of her artist website, built in collaboration with Kingston Frameworks. After a long career in academic publishing, Zoë has returned to the printmaking studio in Toronto and has a new collection of original silkscreen prints. She credits ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and her professor, J.C. Heywood, for her love of the silkscreen medium. Her work is .

    Annette (Saulnier) Bergeron

    Annette is pleased to announce that she has been appointed to the board of directors of the Canada Energy Regulator. She joined the board on Jan. 24, 2025, for a five-year term. She currently holds the position of Honorary Guard Commander of the Fort Henry Guard and serves on the board of Synergy North. Ms. Bergeron has twice been named one of the Top 25 Women of Influence in Canada and is a recipient of the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers issued by the Governor General of Canada. She’s also taught at Queen’s.

    Dr. Ross A. Eaman

    Ross is now an adjunct research professor at Carleton University after a lengthy career in its School of Journalism and Communication. His most recent publications are: Historical Dictionary of Journalism (2nd ed.), published by Rowman and Littlefield, 2021; and Architecture as Communication: A Medium Like No Other, published by McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2025.

    In January, Grant received the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his long-time advocacy regarding fighting climate change (over 1,000 presentations and counting) and also in promoting outdoor experiential education as essential learning for a sustainable future.
