Employee Experiences Survey coming in January

Employees will be invited to share their workplace experiences and contribute to a stronger organizational culture.

Queen’s will launch the next Employee Experiences Survey in January. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and will provide important insight into workplace culture across the university. Strengthening organizational culture is a key institutional priority, and this work begins with understanding employee experiences and taking action on what is learned.

This year’s survey has been updated from the last survey, run in 2022, and includes a more focused set of questions and a shorter completion time. It will examine engagement outcomes and workplace drivers such as workload and role clarity, progress in institutional priority areas observed since 2022, and demographic insights that deepen understanding of the employee experience. Employee feedback, collected across staff and faculty, is vital and will help to strengthen workplace culture while providing a benchmark to measure progress in key areas.

The survey will once again be administered by an experienced external provider. Survey responses will be anonymous. Results will be shared at the faculty and portfolio level, with high level findings shared with the wider Queen’s community later in 2026.
